Refund policy

This policy applies to experiences booked directly with The Panama Barcrawl at panamabarcrawl.com. All our experiences take place in Panama City, Panama (Central America). All dates and times in this policy use local time in Panama City, Panama.

Cancelling a public crawl
24 hours or more before the start time: 100% refund
Cancel at least 24 hours before your experience starts (for an 8:00 PM crawl, by 8:00 PM the day before) and we refund 100% of what you paid.
Less than 24 hours before the start time: 50% refund
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, including on the day of your experience, receive a 50% refund.
No-shows
If you don't cancel and don't attend, your booking is a no-show and is not eligible for a refund. Your ticket doesn't go to waste, though. You can:
- Reschedule to another available date within one year of your original experience date.
- Give your ticket to someone else, who can use it on any available date within that year.
To reschedule or transfer a ticket, email us with your order number and the new date or the new guest's name.
Changing your date or transferring your ticket
You can change your date or transfer your ticket to another person instead of cancelling. Date changes are:
- Subject to availability
- Valid for the same experience and number of guests
- Usable within one year of your original experience date
- Subject to any price difference for the new date
Panama City, Panama, not Panama City, Florida
The Panama Barcrawl operates in Panama City, Panama. It does not operate in Panama City or Panama City Beach, Florida.
To complete a booking, every guest must check a box confirming they understand the experience takes place in Panama City, Panama. Because of that confirmation, bookings made for the wrong destination follow the same rules as any other booking: a 100% refund when cancelled 24 hours or more before the start time and a 50% refund after that.
Rain and weather
The OG Crawl runs rain or shine. The experience takes place inside bars and clubs, and we provide ponchos for the short walks between venues. Rain is not a reason for a refund, and the standard cancellation rules apply.
If severe weather or another safety issue stops us from running the experience, you can choose a transfer to another date, store credit or a full refund.
Late arrivals
The group leaves the meeting point on schedule. Arriving late can mean missing check-in, an included drink, a venue or the whole experience. We will try to help you find the group, but we can't guarantee it, and missed parts of the experience are not refundable.
Entry, ID, dress code and conduct
Guests must be 18 or older and bring an original, valid government-issued photo ID. Each venue makes the final decision on entry. We don't issue refunds when entry or participation is refused because of:
- Missing or unacceptable ID
- Not meeting the minimum age
- Clothing that doesn't meet a venue's dress code
- Excessive intoxication
- Aggressive, discriminatory, threatening, sexually inappropriate or disruptive behavior
- Not following instructions from hosts, venue staff or security
Venue and route changes
The bars, clubs, route, music and order of stops can change based on venue operations, private events, capacity, crowd and safety. A reasonable change to the route or venues is not a reason for a refund as long as the core experience is provided.
If we cancel
If The Panama Barcrawl cancels your experience and can't offer a reasonable alternative, you choose between a full refund, a transfer to another date or store credit. We are not responsible for other travel costs such as flights, hotels, transportation or meals.
Private bar crawls and custom experiences
Private bar crawls are final sale and are not refundable. We book venues, hosts, transportation and other services for your group in advance, so we can't refund them once paid.
Payment for a private crawl is due one week before your experience date, or earlier once your group's trip to Panama is confirmed. Before you pay, please reconfirm with everyone in your group that the trip to Panama is confirmed.
If your proposal, invoice or written agreement includes different terms, those terms apply.
Bookings made through other platforms
Bookings made through a third-party platform (for example Viator, TripAdvisor or Airbnb) follow that platform's cancellation and refund rules. Please request cancellations through the platform you booked with.
How to cancel, reschedule or transfer
Email tours@panamabarcrawl.com or message us on WhatsApp at +507 6622-6460 with:
- The full name on the booking
- Your order or confirmation number
- Your experience date and number of guests
- What you'd like to do: cancel, change the date or transfer the ticket (with the new guest's name)
The time we receive your message decides which refund rule applies.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. After we issue a refund, your bank or card provider can take up to 10 business days to show it on your account.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer right that can't legally be excluded under applicable law.
